Hurricane Erick Passing South Tonight & Tomorrow; Flossie Next Week

Hurricane Erick will pass south of the Big Island tonight and south of the rest of the islands through the day on Friday. Erick still maintains hurricane strength with 80mph sustained winds at its core as of 11AM.

Tropical Storm Flossie maintained its strength with 65mph sustained winds as of 11AM. Flossie is expected to be approaching Hawaii on Monday into Tuesday. Forecasters are still not confident of Flossie's eventual track, but the current prediction has the storm taking a northerly turn after coming close to the Big Island.
