Lili Reinhart Sobs Recounting How Her Dog Was 'Attacked' During Their Walk

Back in February, Lili Reinhart rescued an adorable pup named Milo from Furever Freed Dog Rescue in British Columbia. She shared sweet photos of her new furry friend with her followers, telling them Milo had "quickly become a great love of mine."

While out on walk with Milo on Friday (April 10), the small dog was attacked by another dog. After the "horrifying" incident, Lili took to social media to emotionally describe what happened. Through tears, Lili recounted the incident and asked her followers to keep Milo in their thoughts while he recovers.

"This is weird for me and I'm not exactly sure why I'm doing it, but I guess for all the people out that that care about my little dog Milo," Lili said, "I was taking him out today to get some exercise. I had a mask and gloves on so don't start with me about that. He was attacked by another dog."

Lili revealed Milo suffered a severe neck wound during the attack and as a result needed immediate surgery. "It was pretty bad," she tearfully told her fans. "I had to rush him to the hospital, and he's there now getting surgery."

Recently, Lili tweeted about how much Milo means to her. "I am so grateful for Milo," she shared. "I genuinely don't think I would get out of bed some days if it weren't for him. Now I understand those bumper stickers that say 'who rescued who?'"

Here's hoping Milo has a speedy recovery.
