Mariah Carey Shares Her First 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' Performance

Mariah Carey shared a treat alongside the release of the 25th anniversary release of her Merry Christmas album and it's a colossal gift.

On Wednesday (November 20), the Queen of Christmas posted the never-before-seen video of her very first-ever performance of her mega-hit, "All I Want For Christmas is You," which was recorded at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York on December 8, 1994. During the number, a brunette Carey is seen at the center of the venue with her three back-up singers and instrumentals effortlessly delivering what would go on to become an instant classic. "For the first time ever, fans can relive this historic fundraising event that notably benefited The Fresh Air Fund and Camp Mariah," reads the video's description. "The unveiling of the show from The Cathedral of St. John The Divine is a long-anticipated official release of live concert material that has been sought after by fans for many years."

If you want more from Carey's festivity, make sure you get your hands on the new two-CD 25th anniversary deluxe edition of the album, which includes the original album, as well as a bonus disc with previously unreleased tracks from the 1994 concert, rare remixes and even a new rendition of "Sugar Plum Fairy."

In related news, the classic recently re-entered at the No. 39 spot on Billboard's Hot 100, marking the earliest that the track has ever returned to the chart for its annual appearance. Last year, the track reached a new peak on the chart at the No. 3 position, becoming the highest-charting holiday hit since "The Chipmunk Song" by The Chipmunks with David Seville led for four weeks beginning December 22, 1958.
